 About: Florian, or Flo to her friends (which includes basically everyone), is a strong, middle-aged local who supplies Anchor Rock with any firewood or wooden craft furniture they might need. He also does his own woodcarving and woodturning, and he's quite handy at it. She's pretty easy to recognise around town with her curly brown hair and assorted flannel shirts. His cabin on the outskirts of town by the forest is easy enough to find if you follow the sounds of her axe or woodworking machines.
 The locals of Anchor Rock know Flo's door is always open if you need a shoulder to lean on and a cup of something warm.

-About: Fred Reading looks to be a bland and frankly rather dull seeming man in his early forties. He is of a slightly slender build and always seems to be wearing a tie and waistcoat no matter where he is. No one is entirely sure what he does for a living, but he seems to have worked just about everywhere, yet somehow seems to make even that seem slightly boring.
+About: Hal is your typical unemployed nineteen year old. Never quite grew out of his teenage angst, he's simply a short, mulleted, baggy-shirted, anarchist ball of sunshine. He might be a bit of a genius, but who can be sure when he spends all his time shut indoors, building robots. For what cause? Who knows! He seems nice, anyway. A bit strange and suspicious of his surroundings, but who wouldn't be, when you've been randomly teleported to the other side of the country. Just don't set him off about anything he's interested in, or you might get an hour long lecture about AI, weird electronic music and some underground horror movies, you've probably never heard of them. He's just so cool and unique like that.

 About: If you’ve spent any time in Anchor Rock at all, you’ll know the MacIntyres, the local boys that have turned law enforcement into a family business - not that Anchor Rock has ever been much in need of their services. Old Cobb MacIntyre is the Chief of Police, and for a time it seemed like he would be retiring and leaving the role to his eldest son, Luke MacIntyre. That all changed after the car crash, of course, which you’d do well not to bring up except in hushed tones. \\
 Now Mitch, Cobb’s youngest, is his father’s deputy. They're in their early 20s now, but that hasn’t stopped their hairline from receding, and judging by the permanent marker on their face, they still can’t grow a moustache. He spends his days carrying groceries for the elderly, building fences, and helping ducks cross the road. Mitch has become quite the fixture of the community these past few years - even if it’s not entirely clear what policing they actually do.

+About: Nella Tsai, 23, has always lived in Anchor Rock.  As a kid, they were a bit of a social outcast and a little weird.  They have been running the Tsai family farm and watching their a-gong (grandpa) ever since her dad got sick and her dad and mom moved to the city so he can receive treatment.  She has a big sister who lives in the city working a mundane office job.   She has blue hair as well as freckles and a tan from working in the sun.  She looks friendly, if a little nervous at times.  Its not uncommon to see them talking to a little blue bird on their shoulder.

Along with café and library visits, you’ll also see her attempting to inexpertly stargaze at Anchor Rock itself, usually towards the north.

More recently his nephew has been keeping an eye on him, but given he’s been transferred away, Oleman is looking forward to some free time once more. You in?

Someone who's older and more sports inclined might remember his name from newspapers as a hot young basketball talent who never panned out, maybe something about a big break up. He's got a daughter, Jameela, who's about 9 years old, who he lives for. They're always training together, he says he's going to make her the best player the world's ever seen. When she's at school, O.J. helps as an amateur mechanic or sometimes a volunteer coach for the youth of Anchor Rock.

Not long out of high school, this is his first time leaving his home town, which, now that he's gotten a better look at the place, doesn't seem all that different from Anchor Rock.
